What I've Watched

I have been a Plex member since September 2014, but for most of those years a watch history lived only on whatever server you played it from, so it went away when that machine did or I lost access to the library. This is what Plex has recorded since they started saving that information account wide with the "Discover Together" thing. The account wide record from Plex starts August 9, 2023, because I opted into the beta. It went public that November.1

This list is not everything I have ever seen and it is not even close. Everything before Plex started keeping track is in my head and in my notebooks. This is Plex only, so nothing I saw on Netflix, Amazon Prime or in a theater is in here. The Star/Dot ratings are mine, pulled directly off my Plex account. I will rate something without watching it, so a date is not always a watch, sometimes it is just a rating from memory. Click a title for the full history and link to write up if there is one.

Plex's account wide Watch History arrived with Discover Together, which launched publicly on November 1, 2023 after a beta the previous summer, according to TechCrunch. Plex's own documentation on how watch state moves between a server and the account is here. back

Watch dates and counts come from my own Plex account and are published here as a record of what the analysis on this site is built on. No one else's viewing data is involved, and nothing about who visits this page is recorded alongside it.
